The taxes we generate fund crucial city services including police, fire, public schools, health, neighborhood services, libraries and social programs. In 2009, there were over 54,400 business accounts and more than 199,000 assessable parcels, generating over $1.76 billion in tax revenue, an increase of $160 million from the previous year.
